  7. The archive consists of 3 parts:

  9. 1) The SmartDragWindow .h and .c files

  11. 2) The SmartDragWindow app demo. This shows you how you can implement SmartDragWindow in your own apps.

  13. 3) The SmartDragWindow extension. Source code to the SmartDragWindow init and control panel, which implements SmartDragWindow system-wide.

  15. Known problems:

SmartDragWindow is incompatible with some applications which use collapsed windows (i.e. the window is reduced to the drag bar only; the content region is hidden). Usually WindowShade works OK. There's a slight problem with Aaron. And Stickies with SmartDragWindow is not recommended! Dragging itself is fine - it's just when the mouse is released and the window's rect is adjusted is when all hell breaks loose.

  19. This will probably be fixed in the next release, as it looks like more and more people are using collapsed windows.
